The Sales Representative primary role is to promote all Cengage Learning products in Higher Education institutions within North and South Holland to maximize revenue and achieve agreed sales goals, through all channels including campus bookshops and direct to institutions and academics.
The roles responsibilities include retaining existing adoptions as well as growing the territory by securing new business, regularly notifying customers of relevant key titles, new editions and promotions, to be a contact point for all customers and to respond to customer enquiries promptly and to have a thorough working knowledge of all bestselling titles, and to identify and take advantage of opportunities that exist for these books.
The successful candidate will have experience in sales, preferably in the publishing industry and / or in the Netherlands market. They will have a dynamic, diplomatic and persuasive approach to selling with strong business acumen. They must be highly motivated and well organised, with good written and verbal communication skills in English. The successful candidate will not have limitations on extensive and frequent international traveling and must hold a clean driving license.
Dutch and English language skills will be an advantage.
